Pn Thursday, Jake and Bronte both competed in the State Athletics Championships at Homebush in Sydney. Both did excellently well, and it was a greate achievement even to get to the finals at Homebush!
On the day, Bronte managed to win two bronze medals in the track events.

Back Garden Progresses |

Today I've been working on the back yard again. As I had run out of timber yesterday, I spent some time digging out a load of soil in preparation for a set of steps. So once the timber arrived (4pm) I managed to finish off the steps finally!!
Of course there are a couple of things that I did wrong, but I really dont think that you would notice, and as long as they are functional, and dont fall apart when people use them, then all is good :)
Using up the last of the timber off cuts, I started with the side wall:
When the timber arrived, I could finish the back wall and insert the steps:
