What a difference a week makes

April 27, 2005

Well I have now 'officially' been in the new house for a week. During that time there has been a huge change in my surrounding, through lots of hard work by me and some other significants!

Firstly of course, my furniture is now in! Thanks to Darren and Greg, and of course the carpet layers that got my upstairs looking and feeling like a home.

There is still the movie room to carpet, and that should happen on Monday. Then it is my turn to do some work and get the timber floors laid.

Next was the yard work. Many many truck loads of dirt, and hours on the bobcat has got me off to a great start. Lots of work still to be done there, but looking and feeling much more comfortable.

I've also been rearranging the Garage slowly, and now have my work bench set up and starting to get my tools sorted. Finally I can find a tape measure and a marking pencil!

Also had Mr Antenna in to install the TV antenna, and also identify that my fancy smart wiring distribution panel doesn't work properly!! It is introducing noise onto the TV lines, so we had to pull out all the cables, and plug them into a $5 splitter I bought from The Warehouse :) I guess another call to the builder is coming!

But now I get perfect TV reception :)

Here are a few before and after shots of the latest changes...
