Let the party begin |

Well Katherine has left her safe haven of Missouri, and is on her way to the not so dry shores of Australia. It is a little unfortunate that the last ten days here have seen blue skies and high temps, but now she's in the air, the forecast has turned to cool, grey and wet for the next week! Oh well, those forecasters are never right anyway!
Flight arrival is scheduled for early tomorrow morning, that will be friday, and just so happens to coincide with my Parents flying out to New Zealand. I didnt tell Katherine this, didn't want to freak her out with the fact that she might be welcomed at the airport by more people than just me! Anyway, I think I have volunteered to go to the airport via my parents place so I can give them a lift. Means levaing home about 5:30am mind you, and a round trip of nearly 300km, but thats what only sons do ;)
So only a day for me to wait for this party to start. I'm hoping that things go smoothly as we have a huge itinerary planned for the visit.
A summary of what we will be doing is:
Friday - Tour of the local area
Saturday - More touring, first trip to Sydney Opera House for Sarah McLachlan concert
Sunday - Symbio animal park, follwed by a night overlooking the Illawara region
Monday - A Horse trek along the coast and rain forest areas north of Wollongong, followed by dinner in Shellharbour
Tuesday - Jervis bay, followed by a night of camping at St Georges Basin
Wednesday - Trip to Sydney to see Nightwish in concert
Thursday - Trip to the Blue Mountains. Night staying at the Hydro Majestic Hotel
Friday - Seeing the sights of Sydney. Night in Sydney
Saturday - Trip to Taronga Zoo with other Blog Buddies. Night in Sydney
Sunday - More relaxing in Sydney. Night in Sydney
Monday - Trip to the airport, and the fat lady sings.
