Since we were told that our office was going to be closing in June, and we were all likely to be out of work, productivity has fallen quite dramatically! Unfortunately, they still want us to deliver the product we are working on in the time frame we had previously committed to, but without some sort of incentive scheme, its proving difficult to motivate the staff!
One such attempt at motivating and keeping up spirits was a lab wide foosball competition. It has had one good result, that of bouying the spirits of people. But as you can expect, has done very little for getting the job done!
Well last friday was finals day, for the doubles and singles, and an opportunity to clear out the 'drinks cabinet' for some well earned R&R.
And yes that is the Lab Director playing in the celebrity challenge! And yes it is motor racing playing on the plasma TV in the back ground :) We work so hard!!
And for the record, the winners were:
Doubles: Jason & Michael defeated Darren & Justin
Singles: Jason defeated Darren
Yes you can see some commonality in the players of the finals right!
